HCCH Welcomes Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist


Tracy C. Orton, DO, will provide an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) clinic at Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany on the second and fourth Mondays of each month beginning February 25.
Dr. Orton is an otolaryngologist, or a medical doctor who specializes in diseases and conditions of the ears, nose and throat. He is fellowship trained in head and neck cancer reconstruction surgery.

Common conditions he treats include chronic ear and sinus infections, sinusitis and thyroid cancer. He also performs such as tonsillectomy, ear tube placement, sinus surgery, thyroidectomy and chronic ear surgery.

Dr. Orton received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo. His main practice is with Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

With the addition of Dr. Orton’s clinic, patients are able to schedule local appointments with 20 specialists, according to Lori Taylor, director of the hospital's outpatient clinic and surgical services.
