Hendren Earns Occupational Therapy Master’s Degree
Nikki Hendren, who directs Harrison County Community Hospital’s rehabilitation therapy department, recently completed a master of science degree in occupational therapy and passed the national certification exam.
Hendren completed her coursework through Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. She spent much of the summer doing clinical work at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph and Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
After finishing the clinical work, Hendren successfully completed the occupational therapist certification examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Hendren also holds credentials as a physical therapy assistant. She has been on the hospital staff in Bethany since October 1998.
HCCH has 11 physical and occupational therapists and therapy assistants who treat patients in the inpatient, outpatient and home health settings.
