Hospital Adds Podiatry Clinic
Harrison County Community Hospital (HCCH) has added a new podiatry clinic to its list of specialty services available at the hospital in Bethany.
Dr. Jennifer Halligan’s first clinic at HCCH is scheduled for February 26. Beginning in March, she will be in Bethany on the second Monday of each month.
Podiatrists are medical doctors who diagnose and treat conditions of the foot, ankle and related structures of the leg.
Dr. Halligan will be a familiar face to some local patients because she had clinics at HCCH from 2015 to early 2017.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Halligan back to HCCH,” said Tina Gillespie, the hospital’s chief executive officer. “Our patients tell us having convenient access to specialists in Bethany is one of our most valuable services.”
Dr. Halligan completed undergraduate degrees at Southwest Baptist University before earning her medical degree from Des Moines University.
Dr. Halligan is board-qualified in foot surgery, rearfoot reconstruction and ankle surgery. Since 2012 her primary practice has been in Chillicothe at Hedrick Medical Center, which is part of Saint Luke’s Health System.
