Hospital Donates to Babe Adams Field Project

Harrison County Community Hospital recently presented a $1,000 donation to Bethany Parks and Recreation to support the renovation of Babe Adams Field.
The Parks department is raising funds to pay for a modern infield surface, improved outfield drainage, a new fence and LED lighting. Other improvements will include new player benches, spectator bleachers and sidewalks.
“Families throughout our area will benefit from the improved Babe Adams Field, and we were pleased to support this project that will provide athletic facilities for young people to be active and engaged in their community,” said Tina Gillespie, the hospital’s chief executive officer.
