Hospital Auxiliary Membership Drive Underway

Harrison County Community Hospital Auxiliary’s annual membership drive is underway.

The hospital Auxiliary is made up of community members who want to support the local hospital. Membership dues for 2018 are $5.

The group’s main activity is operating the gift shop in the hospital’s lobby. The shop, which sells a variety of unique gift items, is open weekday mornings and afternoons.

In 2017 membership dues and profits from the gift shop enabled the Auxiliary to purchase items totaling more than $2,000 for hospital departments and to award $1,500 in scholarships to Harrison County students pursuing degrees in health care fields.

Auxiliary meetings are held at the hospital at noon on the third Friday of each month. Meetings include lunch (cost is only $3 for members), a short business meeting and an informative program.

“Some members support Auxiliary simply by paying their annual dues, while others choose to be more active by attending the monthly meetings or volunteering in the hospital gift shop,” said Tim Hill, the hospital’s marketing director. “Every member is vital to the group’s success, no matter how they are able to be involved.”

Membership forms are available at the hospital’s registration desk, the HCCH medical clinics in Bethany and Eagleville and online at

To join the HCCH Auxiliary, print the Membership Form and return it to the hospital.
