Cardiopulmonary
Harrison County Community Hospital's Cardiopulmonary Services department provides diagnostic testing and treatment of acute and chronic heart and lung illnesses, including sleep studies and pulmonary rehabilitation. The department's therapists work in the inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
Cardiopulmonary staff members are certified in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, and pediatric advanced life support. The department has around-the-clock in-house hospital coverage.

Respiratory patients frequently suffer from illnesses such as bronchitis, asthma, congestive heart failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Scott Eveloff MD, a pulmonologist and sleep medicine specialist, holds weekly clinics at Harrison County Community Hospital. The respiratory therapists provide a wide range of pulmonary services, including:

Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is designed to help educate patients, decrease respiratory symptoms and complications, and improve overall physical and emotional well being for people with chronic lung diseases. Rehabilitation is covered by Medicare and most insurance carriers upon meeting certain criteria. A doctor’s order is required.
