Harrison County Community Hospital Foundation will host its ninth benefit golf tournament at the Bethany Country Club on Friday, July 28th starting at 9 a.m.
Registration for the 18-hole, two-person scramble is $100 per person or $200 per team. Golf carts are available for an additional rental fee. The tournament will award $2,100 in prize money over three flights, and golfers have a chance to win $25,000 and other prizes for a hole-in-one.
A variety of sponsorship levels are also available for businesses, organizations and individuals who would like to support the event.
“Through the generous support of our sponsors and golfers, the tournament has been one of the Foundation’s most successful fundraising events,” said Abbe Ream, the hospital’s marketing director and a member of the Foundation board.
The HCCH Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds to support the hospital and its medical clinics in Harrison County. Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Proceeds from past golf tournaments have been used to purchase a variety of items for the hospital, including defibrillators, equipment for the CT scanner, cardiac stress testing equipment, a patient transport van, a steam table and oven for the kitchen, inpatient room furniture, and artwork for one of the hospital’s busy hallways.
