CEO Tina Gillespie: Celebrating 2024 Successes and Embracing 2025 Opportunities

As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to wish all of our patients, staff, and community members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! On behalf of everyone at Harrison County Community Hospital (HCCH), thank you for trusting us with your healthcare needs. Your choice to partner with us for your wellness is the greatest gift we could receive, and we are honored to serve you.

This year has been one of growth and progress for HCCH as we continue to focus on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. In 2024, we celebrated numerous milestones highlighting our commitment to serving our community. We added behavioral health services to meet critical needs in mental health and expanded our pain management, podiatry, and rheumatology services to provide a broader range of specialized care close to home. We welcomed 30 new employees to the HCCH team. Additionally, we launched the Pediatric Autism Wellness Services (PAWS) Mobile Sensory Trailer. Facility improvements were also a priority, with updates made to both the HCCH Medical Clinic and the North Harrison Medical Clinic, ensuring a better experience for our patients.

Progress is well underway at our new hospital facility. This state-of-the-art building will provide expanded surgery services, in-house MRI scanning, larger therapy spaces, and private inpatient rooms. Thanks to the hard work of our project team, Cerris Builders, construction remains on schedule, with completion anticipated in Spring 2026.

As we reflect on these accomplishments, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated HCCH team. Every doctor, nurse, technician, and staff member has gone above and beyond to deliver compassionate, quality care to our patients and community.

Looking ahead to 2025, I am excited about what the future holds for HCCH. We will continue to grow our services, forge new community partnerships, and build on our promise to provide excellent care. Together, we will rise to meet the challenges and opportunities of a new year with the same dedication that defines HCCH.

May this holiday season bring you peace, joy, and good health. We look forward to serving you and your families in 2025 and beyond.
