Harrison County Community Hospital’s Chief Clinical and Nursing Officer, Amy Pickren has been selected to the Missouri State Women in Leadership Executive Program Board. Executives around the nation are hand-picked for the board to provide students an exclusive group of individuals with diverse industry backgrounds to offer different points of view and distinctive leadership qualities.
Along with being the Chief Clinic and Nursing Officer, Pickren is the Risk Manager, and Quality Management Director for Harrison County Community Hospital. With a master’s degree of Science in Nursing and Business Administration, Pickren is a performance-driven health care professional with over 20 years of management and administrative experience.
Pickren brings to the board exceptional expertise in care coordination, quality reporting/improvement, and implementing evidence-based practices. Notable success shaping strategic vision and developing sophisticated strategies to drive profitability and sustain growth.
Other board members include senior executives at companies such as Boeing, Caterpillar, Dun & Bradstreet, Microsoft, Pfizer, Shriners Hospitals, Bank of Missouri, Coca-Cola, Home Depot, and Walmart.
The Board meets three times per year in St. Louis to discuss the curriculum of the Women in Leadership Certificate Program and to assign mentorships for future class participants.
