Senior Life Solutions Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary
Community members are invited to join the Senior Life Solutions program staff at Harrison County Community Hospital for an open house to celebrate their five-year anniversary.
The open house will take place on Tuesday, October 24 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Senior Life Solutions building at the southeast side of the hospital, 2600 Miller Street in Bethany.
“We are excited to be nearing our fifth anniversary. I have seen this program grow and am so pleased with the way we’ve been able to help our community,” said Julie Nichols, Senior Life Solutions program director.
“This event is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in Senior Life Solutions to come and see what the program has to offer and meet the staff,” Nichols added.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the program facility and ask questions while enjoying light refreshments.
Senior Life Solutions, an intensive outpatient group therapy program, is designed to meet the unique needs of older adults over the age of 65 who are struggling with symptoms of depression and anxiety often related to aging.
Following an individual assessment, participants meet three times per week in a supportive, encouraging group setting. The staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed social workers, a registered nurse and other professionals dedicated to the emotional well-being of the seniors.
Family members, physicians or other health professionals can refer individuals to the program.
